Welcome to the hyperspace home of Gruffudd the Artist!  Herein you will find much to surprise and delight, and maybe some things to shock and, perhaps, offend too.  It’s all grist to the artistic mill – so if you care about art, why not join the conversation?

Gruffudd creates art using whichever form is appropriate to the story being told, whether it be watercolour, acrylic or oil paints, sculpture, or even non-physical forms such as music and literature.

The Gruffudd ideal is for beauty, in all its forms.  Some things may not be considered “beautiful” in the conventional sense, yet they may still retain that indefinable essence that pulls, attracts and uplifts.  Certainly, the art of Gruffudd is not guided by personal choice, nor necessities pecuniary or otherwise, and so such considerations as may guide many other artists in more predictable ways are to a large degree absent here.

Gruffudd claims no talent for himself.  Obviously, he is talented to be able to produce beautiful paintings, sublime music and erudite prosody, but his art, he claims, is from the Gods, and his talent is merely a conduit through which it may manifest.

So much for Gruffudd – and we hope you will stay around long enough to get to know him and his works – but now for the boring bit, the admin, house rules etc., yada yada yawn.  You are perfectly entitled, should this please you, to wander ’round our website as an epicurean dilettante; however, should this be your flavour you will first of all notice that the site is peppered with advertisements from sponsors.  Of course, this offends high artistic temperaments, but the bottom line is Gruffudd has to eat something and oil paint does tend to be a bit cloying after a while.  Naturally, should you not wish to see the advertisements then we advise you – nay, implore you – to consider subscribing to the social aspects and so forth.  We implore you because, well, we want you to get the full flavour of our site, and to raise you above the need to be advertised at.
